I've had many beginnings. Too many, probably. Today I begin a new blog. It's not my first, but on other sites, I haven't been able to keep up. Now that I'm working on my own site, I hope to be more on top of it. I've got plenty to share!
Like most people, I started making art when I was a kid. I've never stopped. I was encouraged in second grade, when I was making a mess with my fingerpaints, and really enjoying "the process," when my teacher came up and said, "Oh, what a wonderful whale!" and I won a prize. I didn't have the heart to tell her that it was---what I now know to be---an abstract - I was simply reveling in the feel of the paint on the slippery paper!
